明朝湖北蕲州，李月池、李时珍因医术高超而闻名遐迩。包乡绅用错误的《本草书》看病、卖假药，李时珍直言不讳地指出，得罪了他。李时珍治好了楚王的儿子，不要钱财官位，而是求楚王上奏皇上重修“本草”。进入太医院的李时珍因不满太医院的傲慢迂腐，辞职回乡决心自己修正“本草”。百姓得知此事，纷纷献出家藏秘方来支持他。李时珍为验证草药功效，与徒弟庞宪走遍四处寻觅，亲自采集草药，并得到当地药农的热心帮助。一次，李时珍等人遇到恶道刁难，珍贵的药物笔记被烧毁，追随他的郎中老魏也为抢救笔记不幸摔死。但李时珍没有放弃，又重新搜集草药，补写笔记。随后，李时珍又用几年时间将笔记整理成书，名为《本草纲目》。但此书几经波折均未能面世，直至李时珍死后三年，这本凝聚了李时珍三十年心血的伟大药物学著作终于被刻版印出，流传万世，造福于民。。An oil company is drilling in a small town and suddenly they face volcanic eruption. He checks all the hospitals in the area, but the woman seems to have disappeared.。
