1993年3月28日に放送された日本テレビ開局40周年記念ドラマ。製作は日本テレビと松竹に変わり、撮影もフィルムからビデオに変更された。2時間30分の単発ドラマであったため、前作同様、物語は天竺に到着せずに終わっている。視聴率26.9%を獲得した。。A reclusive scientist builds a robot that looks exactly like him to go on a long-term space mission. Since the scientist seems to lack all emotions, he is unable to program them into his automaton, and an eccentric woman is hired to "educate" the robot on human behavior. In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right?。
