民国初期，军阀割据，争名夺利的战争隔三差五打响，百姓流离失所饱受战火摧残！一次会战中，盛家军将军刘子润，因为遭到出卖，孤军驻守沐城两天两夜，虽然保护了百姓，但是刘子润却身受重伤，几千盛家军也全军覆没。不久，沐城中就传起了刘子润之所以战败，是遭遇了未婚妻钟宛若的背叛……。Set in the 1950s in the fictional village of Kembleford, the series follows Roman Catholic priest Father Brown who has a knack for solving crimes. He is assisted by parish secretary Bridgette McCarthy and is often a source of frustration for the local police.。
