ゆうきまさみのマンガを原作にした本作で神山が演じるのは、外見は18歳だが実年齢は88歳である吸血鬼探偵・雪村魁（ゆきむらかい）。不老不死の体質を持つ「オキナガ」である魁は厚労省の新米職員・伏木（ふせぎ）あかりとコンビを組み、70年間にわたって未年のクリスマスに起こっている連続殺人事件、通称「羊殺し」の犯人を追う。。Nikita lives in the small town of Chegarinsk, which is right on the drug trafficking route from Central Asia to Siberia. Deciding to go to Moscow to build a musical career, Nikita wants to earn extra money.
