陆飞、司马战歌、张小武三个性格迥异的年青人，在军营里相识。他们参军的目的各有不同：陆飞只是为了爸爸承诺的五百万奖金；司马战歌却是想得到一个城里人的身份；而胆小懦弱的张小武却是被母亲“逼迫”入伍。其实张小武母亲张丽芳已患上绝症，她这么做，是为了让儿子尽早学会独立。军营的锤炼，让这三个年青人成为生死与共的亲密战友，并携手当上了特种兵。母亲的离世，让张小武的行为变得乖僻，最终被部队除名。但陆飞和司马战歌并不知道，性格大变的张小武其实肩负着祖国一项艰巨任务。公海拯救行动中，陆飞终于发现张小武的真实身份，危机时刻，陆飞用生命保护了张小武，以及张小武身上的秘密。。DECAY is a zombie film made and set at the LHC, by physics PhD students.
