这是当时韩国根据真实的案件改编的电影，即大邱青蛙少年失踪案。 1991年5名小学生去抓青蛙时失踪，2002年9月才发现他们的遗体的事件。1991年3月26日，因为地方议会的议员选举30年来第一次举行，全市放假一天 ，最后一个目击证人说在卧龙山附近见过孩子们，但到处都找不到他们。2002年失踪少年的遗骨却在卧龙山被发现，死亡原因确定是他杀，但目前为止并未抓到犯人。韩国杀人案的诉讼时效为15年，在2006年3月25日就到期，即使抓到犯人也无法惩处。 此片上映之时，还是不知道孩子具体被杀还是失踪的情况。因此很多地方是根据猜测想象出来的。2011年，新片《孩子们》上映，从另一个角度诠释了本案，剧情上更为有力，值得推荐。。繁华都市的一个阴暗角落，面容姣好的站街女见到一个奇特的客人。对方是名小学生，名叫小波。小波的学校马上召开家长会，他因为某种原因只能找到这位女子冒充他的妈妈。站街女起初不屑一顾，言语粗鲁地打算将对方赶走，但是小波态度坚决，他拿出四百块钱，终于让女子动了心。 家长会当天，天上下起鹅毛般的大雪。女人一脸不情愿，按照要求穿上孩子母亲的衣服，还得按规定不得抽烟说脏话。走进教学楼，小波从同学中的目光言语中找到些许自信，但是家长会能否顺利结束？。Growing up in a small town, Charlie, Alex and Nick weren't the most popular kids around after they formed "The Elite Monster Unit".
